Ensino público vs privado: um exemplo inglês
Private school chiefs have called for tougher A-level questions as results showed that nearly half of all grades awarded to their pupils this year were As.
Figures for 31,700 pupils in 484 independent schools out today showed they performed consistently better than their peers in the state sector, scoring double the number of top marks.
But so many 18-year-olds are getting top grades that universities struggle to identify the brightest students, the Independent Schools Council [ISC] said.
Edward Gould, ISC chairman, said A-levels should be reformed to introduce harder questions.
