Globalização

The question: How is the region to face the challenges posed by globalization?
The answers are likely to be all wrong: more intervention, subsidies, and shallow sloganeering.
In reality, Europeans are pretty good at globalization. They just need their governments to get out of the way and let them get on with it.

Globalization is seen as a process in which jobs and investment are driven toward emerging, low-cost economies, destroying western European employment and welfare systems.
Yet globalization isn't to blame. It is high costs, taxes and excessive regulation.
