"It is very risky to make long-term macroeconomic forecasts in a global environment characterized by growing economic interdependence between countries, regions and markets. But if I'd have to bet, my money would be on India.

Formation of human capital has a long-term effect in sustainable economic growth. Among the four countries listed, only India realized the importance of thinking in the long view. It also has its problems (otherwise it would not be a development country), some of them very serious ones. But India is already showing results in the right directions. It has good perspectives."
