Cisma neoconservador?

Se a acesa controvérsia entre Krauthammer a Fukuyama, que durou sensivelmente um ano, já augurava algumas divergências, a última edição da revista "The National Interest", com o artigo assinado por Robert F. Ellsworth e Dimitri K. Simes, pode ter sido a gota num copo de água já cheio. Ellsworth e Simes, numa crítica velada à política externa de George W. Bush escreveram, entre outras coisas, que:

Neoconservatives both in and outside the administration argue that all is needed to make American foreign policy more effective is to change the tone of American statements and to engage in better public relations. This is fantasy. What is required is not just a change in salesmanship, but rather how U.S. policy is conducted.

De acordo com o New York Times, tanto Fukuyama, como Huntington abandoram a revista. O que se segue é uma incógnita.
